Lincolnshire Referral Facilitation Service (RFS) Privacy Statement:
The purpose of RFS is to support the referrals process and ensure that patients are cared for in the right setting at the right time. The service facilitates the patient referral process – from initial GP referral to first outpatient appointment. It supports the majority of routine and urgent GP referrals although there will be some CCG specific specialty exclusions – all 2ww and non-elective/emergencies are excluded from this service. Patients referred following receipt of advice and guidance will still be referred via RFS but will bypass the clinical peer review process.
